Nicole Masters, owner of Integrity Soils and author of For the Love of Soil (2019), will feature as the keynote speaker at Continuing the Working Lands Workshop Series for 2023, set to be held on Aug 8th – 9th, with early-bird pricing extended until June 30. With her extensive experience in diverse multi-species systems, horticulture, vermiculture, compost tea production and more, coupled with the local landowners’ commitment to learning about soil health, adaptive grazing, regenerative agriculture, and cover crops, this workshop is sure to provide the necessary tools to produce sustainable and resilient practices across Sheridan County.

The Sheridan County Working Lands Workshop Series Planning Committee proudly announces the continuation of the Working Lands Workshop Series for 2023, to be held on Aug. 8 and 9. This event will feature Nicole Masters, owner of Integrity Soils and author of For the Love of Soil (2019), and will offer early-bird pricing through June 30. Pre-registration is available through the Sheridan County Conservation District website (www.sccdwy.org).

Nicole Masters is a soil advocate and agroecologist, pattern thinker, author and educator.
Her experience in horticulture, vermiculture, compost tea production and diverse multi-species systems is extensive, and her company, Integrity Soils, has delivered coaching and educational programs to producers and organizations across 24 million acres. Masters’ book, For the Love of Soil; Strategies to Regenerate our Food Production Systems, showcases the tools and principles that producers are using to regenerate their soils.

The Working Lands Workshop Series is a major accomplishment for Sheridan County, showcasing the commitment of the local landowners to learn more about soil health, adaptive grazing, regenerative agriculture, and cover crops. The planning committee has taken great strides to bring knowledge to the community, providing operators with tools to promote sustainability and resilience in their practices. Andrew Cassiday of the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service praised this effort, commending the committee’s dedication to creating harmony between humans, animals, soil, and water.
